Crompton Fans have been a pioneer in manufacturing Ceiling fans for more than 75 years in India. The company was looking to conduct research to understand the buying behaviour patterns of various home owners across India. VAPD team worked closely with the marketing team to learn the market dynamics, understand buying behaviours, identify key consumer segments across regions, learn their lifestyle choices and discover their needs. We also conducted workshops among multi-discipline designer communities in various cities to learn about their product needs. We learnt about trends, colours, material, and style. It was a collaborative effort that helped develop insights and future product needs for the brand teams.
