MRVC under MUTP II brought in Bombardier rakes with full stainless steel body. The average age of Mumbai commuter is dropped, the colour scheme which had to be developed now needed to appeal the youth. The colour scheme of Siemens rakes already broke the mindsets of using red to cover stains and successfully settled in, so for the colour scheme for the new rakes was almost incremental. Bold, Fast and dynamic bands of purple were used this time to communicate agility of the new rakes and the commuting generation. Although the commuter group is growing younger by the day, it is still very difficult to achieve a complete breakthrough. The arrangement for interiors thus stayed the same, where it changes is in small elements which add huge value, making every day travel more comfortable.
