Basic machines like a bench drill machine have not seen a change in the overall design since its evolution. All brands follow the same block approach, imitating the good features and the bad features. With material and technical constraints the machine has an ergonomic disaster. We took a stance on that to minimize the possibility of injury and provide better reach and access to various clamps and operation switch. The speed cone pulley was replaced by a variable drive, easing the changing of speed to a simple turn of a handle, also offering intermediate speeds.
