The Reva i was successful and newer models were to be explored on the same platform. The ‘Zephyr‘, a convertible, as a concept was already developed but it was not production ready with safety and various other details in place. A roll hoop was to be introduced without compromising the cuteness of the car. It was then proposed that in place of a full convertible, a targa top configuration could be tried which certainly would attract the youth, the right contenders for this type of a car.
